STEERING POSITION FUNCTION DOES NOT OPERATE: Diagnosis Procedure

  1. CHECK TILT & TELESCOPIC SWITCH GROUND CIRCUIT 

    Check tilt & telescopic switch ground circuit.

    Refer to "DIAGNOSIS PROCEDURE ".

    Is the inspection result normal? 

    YES: GO TO 2.

    NO: Repair or replace harness or connector.

  2. CONFIRM THE OPERATION 

    Confirm the operation again.

    Is the result normal? 

    YES: Check intermittent incident. Refer to "INTERMITTENT INCIDENT ".

    NO: GO TO  1.
