DRIVER SIDE: Diagnosis Procedure
- CHECK DOOR SWITCH
Check door switch. Refer to "COMPONENT FUNCTION CHECK ".
Is the inspection result normal?
YES: GO TO 2.
NO: Repair or replace the malfunctioning parts.
- CHECK DOOR SWITCH INPUT SIGNAL
Check voltage between driver side power window main switch harness connector and ground.
(+) (-) Voltage (V) (Approx.) Driver side power window main switch Connector Terminal D8 5 Ground Is the inspection result normal?
YES: Replace power window main switch. Refer to "REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION ".
NO: GO TO 3.
- CHECK DOOR SWITCH CIRCUIT
- Turn ignition switch OFF.
- Disconnect power window main switch connector and driver side power window motor connector.
- Check continuity between power window main switch harness connector and driver side door switch harness connector.
Power window main switch Driver side door switch Continuity Connector Terminal Connector Terminal D8 5 B16 2 Existed - Check continuity between power window main switch harness connector and ground.
Power window main switch Ground Continuity Connector Terminal D8 5 Not existed Is the inspection result normal?
YES: GO TO 4.
NO: Repair or replace harness.
- CHECK INTERMITTENT INCIDENT
Refer to "INTERMITTENT INCIDENT ".
: INSPECTION END
