Tire Pressure Sensor ID Registration With TPMS Sensor Activation Tool
- With the ignition switch in OFF position, connect CONSULT (CONSULT-II with CONSULT-II CONVERTER on older models) to the Data Link Connector (DLC). Turn ignition switch to ON position.
- Select "START (NISSAN BASED VHCL)".
- Touch "BCM" on "SELECT SYSTEM" screen.
- Select "AIR PRESSURE MONITOR" on "SELECT WORK ITEM" screen.
- Select "WORK SUPPORT" on "SELECT DIAG MODE" screen, and select "ID REGIST". Select "START" (if available - otherwise, go to next step).
- With a TPMS sensor activation tool pushed against the front left tire air valve, press the button for 5 seconds.
- Register the IDs in the specified order. See ID REGISTRATION ORDER SPECIFICATIONS table to determine what signals are used to indicate successful sensor registration.
- After completing all ID registrations, press "END" to complete the procedure.NOTE: Be sure to register the IDs in the specified order, or the self-diagnostic results display will not function properly.ID REGISTRATION ORDER SPECIFICATIONS
