DTC Detection Logic

NOTE:
  • If DTC B26FE is displayed with DTC U1000, first perform the trouble diagnosis for DTC U1000. Refer to "DTC LOGIC ".
  • If DTC B26FE is displayed with DTC U1010, first perform the trouble diagnosis for DTC U1010. Refer to "DTC LOGIC ".
DTC CONSULT display description DTC detecting condition Possible cause
B26FE HOOD SW CAN DIAG ERROR Hood switch signals (Hood switch 1 and Hood switch 2) received from IPDM E/R via CAN communication are different.
  • Harness or connector

    (hood switch circuit is open or shorted)

  • Hood switch 1
  • Hood switch 2
