Gasoline engine models

1. Turn ignition switch OFF.
2. Disconnect hood switch connector.
3. Check continuity between hood switch terminals.

   Hood switch		Condition	Continuity
   Terminal
   1	3	Close the hood	Not existed
   		Open the hood	Existed
   2		Open the hood	Not existed
   		Close the hood	Existed

Is the inspection result normal?

YES

INSPECTION END

NO

Replace hood lock assembly. Refer to HOOD LOCK : Removal & Installation .
