VR30DDTT engine

  1. CHECK THROTTLE CONTROL MOTOR (BANK 1) 
    1. Turn ignition switch OFF.
    2. Disconnect electric throttle control actuator (bank 1) harness connector.
    3. Check the resistance between electric throttle control actuator (bank 1) terminals as per the following.

      Electric throttle control actuator (bank 1)

      Resistance

      (Approx.)

      +

      -

      Terminals

      2

      1

      1 - 15 Ohm [at 25 deg. C (77 deg. F)]

    Is the inspection result normal?

    YES

    GO TO 2.

    NO

    Replace electric throttle control actuator (bank 1). Refer to INTAKE MANIFOLD COLLECTOR : Exploded View .

  2. CHECK THROTTLE CONTROL MOTOR (BANK 2) 
    1. Turn ignition switch OFF.
    2. Disconnect electric throttle control actuator (bank 2) harness connector.
    3. Check the resistance between electric throttle control actuator (bank 2) terminals as per the following.

      Electric throttle control actuator (bank 2)

      Resistance

      (Approx.)

      +

      -

      Terminals

      2

      1

      1 - 15 Ohm [at 25 deg. C (77 deg. F)]

    Is the inspection result normal?

    YES

    INSPECTION END

    NO

    Replace electric throttle control actuator (bank 2). Refer to INTAKE MANIFOLD COLLECTOR : Exploded View .
