- CHECK THE MOTOR
Check the steering force motor. Refer to Component Inspection .
Is the inspection result normal?
YES
GO TO 2.
NO
Steering force motor is malfunction. Replace steering column assembly. Refer to STEERING COLUMN : Removal & Installation .
- CHECK THE MOTOR CIRCUIT
- Disconnect steering force control module and steering force motor harness connector.
- Check the continuity between control module harness connector and motor harness connector.

NO
Repair or replace error-detected part.
- CHECK INTERMITTENT INCIDENT
- Check enlarged contact spring of terminal. Refer to Inspection .
- Perform intermittent incident while turning steering wheel. Refer to Inspection .
Is the inspection result normal?
YES
Replace steering force control module. Refer to STEERING FORCE CONTROL MODULE : Removal & Installation .
NO
Repair or replace error-detected part.
