DTC Diagnosis Procedure

With CONSULT

1. Turn the ignition switch ON.
2. Perform self-diagnosis for "ABS".

Is any DTC detected?

YES

Check the DTC. Refer to DTC Index .

NO

GO TO 2.

With CONSULT

1. Turn the ignition switch ON.
2. Erase self-diagnosis for "EPS/DAST 3".
3. Turn the ignition switch OFF and wait for at least 10 seconds.
4. Turn the ignition switch ON.
5. Perform self-diagnosis for "EPS/DAST 3".

Is DTC "C13C6-00" detected?

YES

GO TO 3.

NO

• Check enlarged contact spring of terminal. Refer to Inspection .
• Perform intermittent incident while turning steering wheel. Refer to Inspection .

1. Turn the ignition switch OFF.
2. Disconnect steering force control module harness connector and then check steering force control module terminals for damage or loose connection with harness connector.
3. Disconnect ABS actuator and electric unit (control unit) harness connector and then check ABS actuator and electric unit (control unit) terminals for damage or loose connection with harness connector.

Is the inspection result normal?

YES

Replace steering force control module. Refer to STEERING FORCE CONTROL MODULE : Removal & Installation .

NO

Repair or replace error-detected part.
