Direct Adaptive Steering System

  1. PRECONDITIONING 

    If "Confirmation Procedure" has been previously conducted, always turn ignition switch OFF and wait at least 10 seconds before conducting the next test.

    GO TO 2.

  2. DTC REPRODUCTION PROCEDURE 

    SYMBOL With CONSULT

    1. Start the engine.
      CAUTION: Never drive the vehicle.
    2. Perform self-diagnosis for "EPS/DAST 3".

    Is DTC "C13E6-00" detected?

    YES

    Proceed to diagnosis procedure. Refer to DTC Diagnosis Procedure .

    NO

    The temporary rise of steering force motor internal temperature caused the protection function to operate. This is not a system malfunction. INSPECTION END
