Electric Power Steering System

  1. PROGRAMMING OF POWER STEERING CONTROL MODULE 

    Perform programming of power steering control module. Refer to Work Procedure .

    CAUTION: Do not replace the power steering control module until self-diagnosis has been completed.

    GO TO 2.

  2. PERFORM SELF-DIAGNOSIS 

    SYMBOL With CONSULT

    Perform self-diagnosis for "EPS/DAST 3".

    NOTE: Replace the power steering control module even if other DTCs are displayed along with "C1602" in self-diagnosis for "EPS/DAST 3".

    Is DTC detected?

    YES

    Replace the power steering control module. Refer to STEERING GEAR AND LINKAGE : Removal & Installation .

    NO

    INSPECTION END
