ADAS Control Unit (DTC/Circuit Diagnosis) (1 Of 2)
Regarding Wiring Diagram information, refer to appropriate system Wiring Diagram .
- CHECK SELF-DIAGNOSIS RESULTS
Check if "U1000" is detected other than "C1A06" in "Self Diagnostic Result" mode of "ICC/ADAS".
Is "U1000" detected?
YES
Perform the CAN communication system inspection. Repair or replace the malfunctioning parts. Refer to DTC Logic .
NO
GO TO 2.
- CHECK ICC STEERING SWITCH
- Turn the ignition switch OFF.
- Disconnect the ICC steering switch connector.
- Check the ICC steering switch. Refer to Component Inspection .
Is the inspection result normal?
YES
GO TO 3.
NO
Replace the ICC steering switch.
- CHECK HARNESS BETWEEN SPIRAL CABLE AND ECM
- Disconnect the ECM connector.
- Check for continuity between the spiral cable harness connector and ECM harness connector.

- Check for continuity between spiral cable harness connector and ground.

YES
GO TO 4.
NO
Repair the harnesses or connectors.
- CHECK SPIRAL CABLE
Check for continuity between spiral cable terminals.

YES
GO TO 5.
NO
Replace the spiral cable.
- PERFORM SELF-DIAGNOSIS OF ECM
CONSULT
- Connect the connectors of ICC steering switch and ECM connector.
- Turn the ignition switch ON.
- Select "Self Diagnostic Result" mode of "ENGINE".
- Check if any DTC is detected in "Self Diagnostic Result" mode of "ENGINE".
Is any DTC detected?
YES
Perform "Self Diagnostic Result" on the detected DTC and repair or replace the malfunctioning parts. Refer to DTC Index .
NO
Replace the distance sensor. Refer to Removal and Installation .
