Display And Warning (PFCW/LDW/BSW)

The PFCW/LDW/BSW systems operate when ON is selected with the integral switch.

When the distance sensor is dirty, making it impossible to detect a vehicle ahead When driving on roads with limited road structures or buildings (for example, long bridges, deserts, snow fields, driving next to long walls)	A chime sounds and the control is automatically canceled. NOTE: Park the vehicle in a safe place, turn the engine OFF. Check to see if the distance sensor area of the front bumper grille is blocked. If the distance sensor area of the front bumper grille is blocked, remove the blocking material. Restart the engine and then perform the PFCW/FEB system again.   NOTE: After the operating conditions of warning are satisfied, the warning continues until the vehicle speed reaches approximately 60 km/h (37 mph). Refer to System Description .

  NOTE:

  • If vehicle speed exceeds approximately 32 km/h (20 mph), BSW function operates until the vehicle speed becomes lower than approximately 29 km/h (18 mph).
  • Time shown in the figure is approximate time.
  • Always Blind Spot Intervention system operates together with BSW system. Whenever Blind Spot Intervention system is turned ON in the integral switch, BSW system will also be turned on even if the BSW system is turned off.
