DTC Diagnosis Procedure

1. 1. Ignition switch OFF.
   2. Disconnect steering force control module connector and steering angle main control module connector.
   3. Check the continuity between steering force control module harness connector and steering angle main control module harness connector.

Is the inspection result normal?

YES>>

GO TO 2.

NO>>

Repair or replace malfunctioning component.

1. CONSULT
   1. Connect steering force control module connector and steering angle main control module connector.
   2. Ignition switch ON.
   3. Select "SUB IGN VOLTAGE" in "Data Monitor" mode of "DAST 1".
   4. Check the value.

      Monitor item	Standard value(Approx.)
      SUB IGN VOLTAGE	Battery voltage

Is the inspection result normal?

YES>>

GO TO 3.

NO>>

Replace steering force control module. Refer to Removal and Installation .

1. CONSULT
   1. Ignition switch OFF.
   2. Connect steering angle main control module connector.
   3. Ignition switch ON.
   4. Erase "Self Diagnostic Result" mode of "DAST 1".
   5. Ignition switch OFF and wait for at least 10 seconds.
   6. Start the engine.
      CAUTION:

      Never drive the vehicle.

   7. Select "Self Diagnostic Result" mode of "DAST 1".

Is DTC "C13BD-00" detected?

YES>>

Replace steering angle main control module. Refer to Removal and Installation .

NO>>

• Check enlarged contact spring of terminal. Refer to How to Check Terminal .
• Perform intermittent incident while turning steering wheel. Refer to Intermittent Incident .
