DTC Diagnosis Procedure

PERFORM ABS ACTUATOR AND ELECTRIC UNIT (CONTROL UNIT) SELF-DIAGNOSIS
1. CONSULT
  1. Ignition switch ON.
  2. Select "Self Diagnostic Result" mode of "ABS".
Is any DTC detected?

YES>>

Check the DTC. Refer to DTC Index .

NO>>

GO TO 2.
PERFORM SELF-DIAGNOSIS
1. CONSULT
  1. Ignition switch OFF and wait for at least 10 seconds.
  2. Ignition switch ON.
  3. Select "Self Diagnostic Result" mode of "EPS/DAST 3".
Is DTC "C13C7-00" or "C13E2-00" detected?

YES>>

C13C7-00 is detected: Refer to DTC Description .

YES>>

C13E2-00 is detected: Replace steering force control module. Refer to Removal and Installation .

NO>>
- Check enlarged contact spring of terminal. Refer to How to Check Terminal .
- Perform intermittent incident while turning steering wheel. Refer to Intermittent Incident .
