Pedestrian Protection Module: Removal

NOTE: The pedestrian protection module must be renewed if the system has deployed on 3 occasions.
  1. Make the pedestrian protection system safe.
  2. Remove the front LH fender splash shield. Refer to Fender Splash Shield information.
  3. Remove the pedestrian protection module.
    • Remove and discard the 2 Torx bolts.
    • Disconnect the electrical connector.
