Inspection Procedure

  1. Check RR IG1 fuse. 
    1. CHECK:  Check continuity of RR IG1 fuse.
      1. OK:  Continuity
    1. NG:  Replace the failure fuse.
    2. OK:  Go to next step.
  2. Check voltage between terminal IG and MGND of clearance sonar ECU. 
    1. PREPARATION: 
      1. Disconnect the clearance sonar ECU.
      2. Turn ignition switch ON.
    2. CHECK:  Measure voltage between terminals IG and MGND of the clearance sonar ECU.
      1. OK:  Voltage: 10-14 V
    1. OK:  Proceed to next circuit inspection shown on problem symptoms table (See PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE ).
    2. NG:  Go to next step.
  3. Check wire harness and connector between clearance sonar ECU and body ground. 
    1. NG:  Repair or replace wire harness or connector.
    2. OK:  Check and repair wire harness and connector between ECU and battery.
