Inspection Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2004 Lexus GS 430 and 2004 Lexus GS 300. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Display check mode (Touch switch, Touch point screen). 
    1. NG: Replace the multi display. 
    2. OK: Go to Next Step 
  2. Check "AVC-LAN communication circuit". (See  AVC-LAN (COMMUNICATION BUS) CIRCUIT  ) 
    1. NG: Replace or repair AVC-LAN circuit. 
    2. OK: Go to Next Step 
  3. Check multiplex communication circuit (See  HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING  ). 
    1. NG: Replace or repair multiplex communication circuit. 
    2. OK: Replace A/C amplifier.
