Camshaft Position Sensor: Testing and Inspection

INSPECT CAMSHAFT POSITION SENSOR [19300C]

a. Check the resistance.
1. Check the resistance between the terminals.

Resistance:
835 - 1,400 Ohm (when cold*)
1,060 - 1,645 Ohm (when hot*)

NOTE: Terms "when cold*" and "when hot*" in this text shows the temperature of the part itself to be inspected. Also, the temperature setting range is 20 ± 30 °C (68 ± 54 °F) when cold and 75 ± 25 °C (167 ± 45 °F) when hot.
