Crankshaft Position Sensor: Testing and Inspection

INSPECT CRANKSHAFT POSITION SENSOR [15100R]

a. Check the resistance.
1. Check the resistance between the terminals.

Resistance:
1,630 - 2,740 Ohm (when cold*)
2,065 - 3,225 Ohm (when hot*)

NOTE: Terms "when cold*" and "when hot*" in this text shows the temperature of the part itself to be inspected. Also, the temperature setting range is 20 + 30 °C (68 ± 54 °F) when cold and 75 ± 25 °C (167 ± 450 °F) when hot.
