Inspection Procedure

  1. DISPLAY CHECK MODE (TOUCH SWITCH, TOUCH POINT CHECK) 
    1. Perform display check mode.
      1. Start the diagnosis system and perform the touch switch and touch point check.
    1. NG: CHECK AND REPLACE MULTI-DISPLAY (CRT DISPLAY) DISPLAY 
    2. OK: Go to next step. 
  2. REMOVE OPTIONAL PARTS 
    1. Remove optional parts (Cellular mobile telephone).
      1. Disconnect the cellular mobile telephone wire harness.
      2. Connect the wire harness of the navigation system so that the cellular mobile telephone is not linked.
    2. Check that the malfunction disappears when operating the navigation system again.

    1. A: Go to next step. 
    2. B: CHECK AND REPLACE TELEPHONE COMPUTER AND WIRE HARNESS 
  3. CHECK SWITCH (BEEP SOUND) 
    1. Check switch.
      1. Check that the beep sounds when touch switch is pressed.
    1. NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR 
    2. OK: CHECK AND REPLACE NAVIGATION ECU
