Pin Voltage Tests

Using a DVOM connected to ground, backprobe to measure voltage or resistance at appropriate terminal at engine control module harness connector unless otherwise specified. See CONNECTOR IDENTIFICATION . See ENGINE CONTROL MODULE (ECM) PIN VOLTAGE CHART  table.

Connector & Terminal No. (Symbol), Wire Color Condition Standard Voltage
E4-4 (STP) - E6-7 (E1), Green/White - Brown Depress Brake Pedal 10-16 Volts
E4-4 (STP) - E6-7 (E1), Green/White - Brown Release Brake Pedal Below 1 Volt
E4-31 (CCS) - E6-7 (E1), Blue/Red - Brown Ignition Switch ON 10-16 Volts
E4-31 (CCS) - E6-7 (E1), Blue/Red - Brown Ignition Switch ON & CANCEL Switch Hold ON 6.9-9.8 Volts
E4-31 (CCS) - E6-7 (E1), Blue/Red - Brown Ignition Switch ON & SET/COAST Switch Hold ON 4.7-6.9 Volts
E4-31 (CCS) - E6-7 (E1), Blue/Red - Brown Ignition Switch ON & RES/ACC Switch Hold ON 2.4-3.8 Volts
E4-31 (CCS) - E6-7 (E1), Blue/Red - Brown Ignition Switch ON & MAIN Switch Hold ON Below 1 Volt
