Throttle Position (TP) Sensor

TP SENSOR RESISTANCE SPECIFICATIONS

Application Terminals (1) Ohms @ 68°F (20°C)
ES300 & RX300 (2)
Throttle Fully Closed VTA & E2 200-6300
Throttle Fully Open VTA & E2 2000-10,200
VC & E2 2500-5900
GS300 & IS300 VC & E2 (3) 1200-3200
GS430, LS430 & SC430 VC & ETA (3) 1250-2350
LX470 VC & E2 (3) 1250-2350
(1) For TP sensor terminal identification, see Fig 1-Fig 4 .
(2) Apply vacuum to throttle opener before checking TP sensor.
(3) Resistance at 68°F (20°C).
