Circuit Description

The park/neutral position switch detects the shift lever position and sends signals to the ECM. DTC P0705 will set when all switches are off simultaneously for "P", "R", "N", "D", "3" and "2" positions. DTC P0850 will set when park/neutral switch remains on (P, N position) during driving under conditions (vehicle speed 44 MPH or more and engine speed at 1500-2500 RPM or more) for 30 seconds.
