Intake Air Control Valve Assembly No. 3 (ES300)

NOTE:
Do not adjust adjusting screw.
- With 7.9 in. Hg (27 kPa) of vacuum applied to actuator, check that actuator rod moves.
- One minute after applying vacuum, check that actuator rod does not return.
- If operation is not as specified, replace intake air control valve assembly. No. 3.
- Using an ohmmeter, check that there is continuity between each terminal. Resistance should be 37-44 ohms at 68°F (20°C). See Fig 1.
- Check that air flows from port "E" to filter.
- Apply battery voltage across terminals.
- Check that air flows from port "E" to port "F".
- Repair or replace as necessary.
