Steering Pad Switch Modulator: Replacement

HINT:

• COMPONENTS: SEE AIR BAG RESTRAINT SYSTEMS .
• SEE: LOCATION .
• Installation is in the reverse order of removal.

1. REMOVE SWITCH & VOLUME CASE 
   1. Disengage the 3 claws and remove the switch & volume case.
2. REMOVE STEERING WHEEL COVER LOWER NO.2 (SEE  GARAGE DOOR OPENER SYSTEM  ) 
3. REMOVE HORN BUTTON ASSY (SEE  GARAGE DOOR OPENER SYSTEM  )

4. REMOVE STEERING PAD SWITCH MODULATOR 
   1. Remove the 4 screws.
   2. Disconnect the connectors and remove the steering pad switch modulator.
5. INSTALL HORN BUTTON ASSY (SEE  GARAGE DOOR OPENER SYSTEM  ) 
6. INSPECT HORN BUTTON ASSY (SEE  GARAGE DOOR OPENER SYSTEM  ) 
7. SRS WARNING LIGHT (SEE  SOURCE VOLTAGE DROP  )
