Front Seat: Replacement

HINT:

  1. REMOVE SEAT CUSHION COVER FROM PAD 
    1. Remove the hog rings.
    2. Remove the seat cushion cover from the pad.

    4. Turn the seat cushion cover inside out.
    5. Disconnect the seat wires.

  2. REMOVE SEAT HEATER 
    1. Remove the tack pins which are fastened to the heater.
    2. Remove the seat heater from the seat cushion cover.

    HINT:

    Be sure to remove the wire before removing the seat heater.

  3. REMOVE SEATBACK COVER 
    1. Remove the hog rings and the wires.
    2. Remove the seatback cover from the pad.

    4. Turn the seatback cover inside out.
    5. Disconnect the seat wires.

  4. REMOVE SEAT HEATER 
  5. INSTALL NEW SEAT HEATER TO SEAT COVER 

    Using a tacker, install a new seat heater to the seat cushion cover with tack pins.

    Tacker: BANZAI 303XT or equivalent 

    NOTE: Do not substitute other metal parts for the tack pins. Insufficient distance between the heater and the cover may result in damage to the heater. 

    HINT:

    • Illustration "A" and "B":

      Fasten the cover and the heater with the tack pins matching the seam with the V slit of the heater as shown in Fig 8 .

    • Illustration "C":

      Fasten the out-stretch cloth pad and the heater with the tack pins matching the edge of the cloth pad with the V slit of the heater as shown in Fig 8 .

    • Sewing thread can be substituted for the tack pins. However, allow a distance of 6 - 7 mm (0.24 - 0.28 in.) between both sewed parts of the heater and the cover.
  6. INSTALL SEAT CUSHION COVER TO SEAT CUSHION PAD 
    1. Thread the wires through the listing pocket.
    2. Install the seat cushion cover with new hog rings.

    4. Turn the seat cushion cover inside out to put it back to its original position.
  7. INSTALL SEATBACK COVER TO PAD 
    1. Thread the wires though the listing pocket.
    2. Turn the seatback cover inside out to put it back to its original position.
    3. Install the seatback cover to the pad with new hog rings.
