REMOVE ENGINE NO. 2 UNDER COVER
DRAIN ATF
REMOVE OIL PAN (See VALVE BODY ASSEMBLY )
REMOVE OIL STRAINER (See VALVE BODY ASSEMBLY )
REMOVE ATF TEMPERATURE SENSOR
1. Disconnect the 7 solenoid valve connectors.
2. Remove the 2 bolts and disconnect the 2 ATF temperature sensors.

3. Disconnect the solenoid connector.
4. Remove the bolt and the transmission wire harness.
INSTALL ATF TEMPERATURE SENSOR
1. Install the transmission wire harness.
2. Install the bolt.
  1. Torque: 5.4 N.m (55 kgf.cm, 48 in.lbf)

3. Connect the solenoid connector.
4. Connect the 7 solenoid valve connectors.
5. Connect the 2 ATF temperature sensors with the 2 bolts.
  Torque:
  1. A: 11 N.m (112 kgf.cm, 8 ft.lbf)
  2. B: 10 N.m (100 kgf.cm, 7 ft.lbf)
  3. Bolt length:
  4. Bolt A: 36 mm (1.42 in.)
  5. Bolt B: 12 mm (0.47 in.)

INSTALL OIL STRAINER (See VALVE BODY ASSEMBLY )
INSTALL OIL PAN (See VALVE BODY ASSEMBLY )
FILL ATF AND CHECK ATF LEVEL (See DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE TABLE )
INSTALL ENGINE NO. 2 UNDER COVER
