Inspection Procedure

  1. INSPECT RADIO AND NAVIGATION ASSY 
    1. Disconnect the radio and navigation assy connector R14.
    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in RADIO AND NAVIGATION ASSY RESISTANCE .

      Standard: 

    RADIO AND NAVIGATION ASSY RESISTANCE

    Tester connection Condition Specified condition
    TXM+ - TXM- Always 60 to 80 Ω

    1. NG: REPLACE RADIO AND NAVIGATION ASSY (SEE  RADIO RECEIVER ASSY  ) 
    2. OK: GO TO NEXT STEP 
  2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (RADIO AND NAVIGATION ASSY - STEREO COMPONENT AMPLIFIER ASSY) 
    1. Disconnect the radio and navigation assy connector R14 and stereo component amplifier assy connector R24.
    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in RADIO AND NAVIGATION ASSY - STEREO COMPONENT AMPLIFIER ASSY RESISTANCE .

    Standard: 

    RADIO AND NAVIGATION ASSY - STEREO COMPONENT AMPLIFIER ASSY RESISTANCE

    Tester connection Condition Specified condition
    TXM+ - TX+ Always Below 1 Ω
    TXM- - TX- Always Below 1 Ω
    TXM+ - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
    TXM- - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher

    1. NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR 
    2. OK: PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN IN  DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE TABLE
