Inspection Procedure

- INSPECT RADIO AND NAVIGATION ASSY
- Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in
RADIO AND NAVIGATION ASSY VOLTAGE .
Standard:
RADIO AND NAVIGATION ASSY VOLTAGETester connection Condition Specified condition MUTE - Body ground Turn ignition switch to ACC, Audio system is playing --> Changing mode Above 3.5 V --> Below 1 V - OK: PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE
- NG: GO TO NEXT STEP
- Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in
RADIO AND NAVIGATION ASSY VOLTAGE .
- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (RADIO AND NAVIGATION ASSY - STEREO COMPONENT CONTROLLER ASSY)
- Disconnect the radio and navigation assy connector R14 and stereo component controller assy connector R24.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in
RADIO AND NAVIGATION ASSY - STEREO COMPONENT CONTROLLER ASSY RESISTANCE .

- REPLACE STEREO COMPONENT CONTROLLER ASSY (SEE

- Replace the stereo component controller assy and check if it operates normally.
OK: The navigation system operates normally.
- OK: NORMAL OPERATION
- NG: REPLACE RADIO AND NAVIGATION ASSY (SEE RADIO RECEIVER ASSY )
- Replace the stereo component controller assy and check if it operates normally.
