Inspection Procedure

  1. INSPECT RADIO RECEIVER ASSY 
    1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard: 

      RADIO RECEIVER ASSY TERMINALS RESISTANCE

      Tester connection Condition Specified condition
      TX+ - TX- Always 60 to 80 Ω

    1. NG: REPLACE RADIO RECEIVER ASSY (SEE  RADIO RECEIVER ASSY  ) 
    2. OK: Go to next step. 
  2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (MULTI-DISPLAY CONTROLLER SUB-ASSY - RADIO RECEIVER ASSY) 
    1. Disconnect the multi-display controller sub-assy connector R15 and radio receiver assy connector R4.
    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard: 

      MULTI-DISPLAY CONTROLLER SUB-ASSY CONNECTOR AND RADIO RECEIVER ASSY CONNECTOR TERMINALS RESISTANCE

      Tester connection Condition Specified condition
      TX+ - TX+ Always Below 1 Ω
      TX- - TX- Always Below 1 Ω
      TX+ - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      TX- - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher

    1. NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR 
    2. OK: PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN IN  DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE CHART
