Inspection Procedure

  1. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (MULTI-DISPLAY CONTROLLER SUB- ASSY - TELEVISION CAMERA ECU) 
    1. Disconnect the multi-display controller sub-assy connector R15 and television camera ECU connector T16.
    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard: 

      MULTI-DISPLAY CONTROLLER SUB-ASSY CONNECTOR AND TELEVISION CAMERA ECU CONNECTOR TERMINALS RESISTANCE

      Tester connection Condition Specified condition
      TX3+ - TX1+ Always Below 1 Ω
      TX3- - TX1- Always Below 1 Ω
      TX3+ - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      TX3- - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher

    1. NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR 
    2. OK: PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN IN  DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE CHART
