Inspection Procedure

  1. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (NAVIGATION ECU - MULTI-DISPLAY CONTROLLER SUB-ASSY) 
    1. Disconnect the navigation ECU connector N2 and multi-display controller sub-assy connector R25.
    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard: 

      NAVIGATION ECU CONNECTOR AND MULTI-DISPLAY CONTROLLER SUB-ASSY CONNECTOR TERMINALS RESISTANCE

      Tester connection Condition Specified condition
      TX+ - TX+ Always Below 1 Ω
      TX- - TX- Always Below 1 Ω
      TX+ - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      TX- - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher

    1. NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR 
    2. OK: PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN IN  DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE CHART
