Inspection Procedure

  1. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (NETWORK GATEWAY ECU-MULTI-DISPLAY) 
    1. Disconnect the network gateway ECU connector G3 and multi-display connector M5.
    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard: 

      NETWORK GATEWAY ECU CONNECTOR AND MULTI-DISPLAY CONNECTOR TERMINALS RESISTANCE

      Tester connection Condition Specified condition
      GTX+ - TX3+ Always Below 1 Ω
      GTX- - TX3- Always Below 1 Ω
      GTX+ - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      GTX- - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher

    1. NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR 
    2. OK: PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN IN  DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE CHART
