Inspection Procedure

  1. INSPECT NAVIGATION ECU 
    1. Disconnect the navigation ECU connector N6.
    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard: 

      NAVIGATION ECU CONNECTOR TERMINALS RESISTANCE

      Tester connection Condition Specified condition
      SNSE - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω

    1. NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR 
    2. OK: Go to next step. 
  2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (MULTI-DISPLAY - NAVIGATION ECU) 
    1. Disconnect the multi-display connector M4 navigation ECU connector N6.
    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard: 

      MULTI-DISPLAY CONNECTOR AND NAVIGATION ECU CONNECTOR TERMINALS RESISTANCE

      Tester connection Condition Specified condition
      MCO+ - MIC+ Always Below 1 Ω
      MCO- - MIC- Always Below 1 Ω
      MCO+ - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      MCO- - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher

    1. NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR 
    2. OK: PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN IN  PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE
