DTC Check/Clear

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2007 Lexus RX 350. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. CHECK DTC 
    1. Prepare the intelligent tester.
    2. Connect the intelligent tester to the DLC3 at the lower part of the instrument panel.
    3. Turn the ignition switch to the ON position and turn the intelligent tester on.
    4. Use the intelligent tester to check the DTCs and the freeze frame data, and note or print the result (See the operator's manual for operating instructions).
    5. Confirm the details of the DTCs (See DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE TABLE  ).
  2. CLEAR DTC 
    1. The following procedures clear the DTCs and freeze frame data.
      • When using the intelligent tester:

        Operate the intelligent tester. (See the operator's manual for operating instructions).

      • When not using the intelligent tester:

        Disconnect the battery terminals.
