Inspection Procedure

  1. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (MULTI-DISPLAY - NAVIGATION ECU) 
    1. Disconnect the multi-display connector M4 and the navigation ECU connector N3.
    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard resistance 

      TESTER CONNECTION SPECIFIED CONDITION REFERENCE TABLE

      Tester connection Condition Specified condition
      VOI- - IVI- Always Below 1 Ω
      VOI+ -IVI+ Always t Below 1 Ω
      VOI- - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      VOI+ - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher

    NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR 

    OK: Go to Next Step 

  2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (MULTI-DISPLAY - STEREO COMPONENT AMPLIFIER) 
    1. Disconnect the multi-display connector M4 and stereo component amplifier connector S27 or S29.
    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard resistance 

      TESTER CONNECTION SPECIFIED CONDITION REFERENCE TABLE

      Tester connection Condition Specified condition
      IVO+ - SS11+ ((1)) Always Below 1 Ω
      IVO+ - II1+ ((2)) Always Below 1 Ω
      IVO- - SS11- ((1)) Always Below 1 Ω
      IVO- -II1- ((2)) Always Below 1 Ω
      IVO+ - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      IVO- - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      (1) with Front Center Speaker
      (2) without Front Center Speaker

    NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR 

    OK: PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN IN  PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE
