DTC Check/Clear

  1. CHECK DTC 
    1. Connect the intelligent tester to the Controller Area Network Vehicle Interface Module (CAN VIM). Then connect the CAN VIM to the DLC3.
    2. Turn the ignition switch to the ON position.
    3. Turn the tester on.
    4. Enter the following menu items: DIAGNOSIS / OBD/ MOBD / IMMOBILIZER / DTC INFO / CURRENT CODES.
    5. Check the DTC(s) and freeze frame data, and then write them down.
    6. Check the details of the DTC(s) (See DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE TABLE  ).
  2. CLEAR DTC 
    1. Connect the intelligent tester (with CAN VIM) to the DLC3.

    2. Turn the ignition switch to the ON position.
    3. Turn the tester on.
    4. Enter the following menu items: DIAGNOSIS / OBD/ MOBD / IMMOBILIZER / DTC INFO / CLEAR CODES.
    5. Press the YES button.
