Inspection Procedure

CHECK COURTESY LAMP
1. Check that at the door open light will be on when the driver's door is opened.
1. OK: REPLACE THEFT WARNING ECU ASSY
2. NG: Go to step 2 .
CHECK MULTIPLEX NETWORK DOOR ECU FRONT LH
1. Connect the tester lead to the multiplex network door ECU front LH connector D17 terminal 27 and connector D19 terminal 1.
  Standard: 10 - 14 V

  1. NG: REPLACE MULTIPLEX NETWORK DOOR ECU FRONT LH
  2. OK: Go to step 3 .
CHECK WIRE HARNESS
1. Disconnect the multiplex network door ECU front LH connector D17 and the front door courtesy switch connector D8 check the connector on the wire harness side.
2. Connect the tester lead to the multiplex network door ECU front LH connector D17 terminal 27 and the front door courtesy lamp switch connector terminal 1.
  Standard: 10 - 14 V

1. NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE WIRE HARNESS
2. OK: Go to step 4 .
INSPECT FRONT DOOR COURTESY LAMP SWITCH ASSY
1. Disconnect the front door courtesy lamp switch connector.
2. Check the continuity between each terminal of the front door courtesy lamp switch connector.

1. NG: REPLACE FRONT DOOR COURTESY LAMP SWITCH ASSY
2. OK: REPLACE TRANSPONDER KEY ECU ASSY.
