Inspection Procedure

  1. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (AUTOMATIC LIGHT CONTROL SENSOR POWER SOURCE CIRCUIT)

    1. Disconnect the automatic light control sensor connector.
    2. Measure the voltage according to the value (s) in the figure Fig 2 below.

    Standard:

    1. NG: Go to step   4 
    2. OK: Go to Next Step 
  2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (DRIVER SIDE JUNCTION BLOCK-AUTOMATIC LIGHT CONTROL SENSOR)

    1. Disconnect the D6 connector from the driver side junction block.
    2. Measure the resistance according to the value (s) in the figure Fig 4 below.

    Standard:

    1. NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR 
    2. OK: Go to Next Step 
  3. REPLACE AUTOMATIC LIGHT CONTROL SENSOR 
    1. OK: Returns to normal operation. 
    2. NG: PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE (SEE  PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE  ) 

    OK: END 

  4. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (DRIVER SIDE JUNCTION BLOCK-AUTOMATIC LIGHT CONTROL SENSOR)

    1. Measure the voltage according to the value (s) in the figure Fig 7 below.

    Standard:

    1. NG: Go to step 6 
    2. OK: Go to Next Step 
  5. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (DRIVER SIDE JUNCTION BLOCK-AUTOMATIC LIGHT CONTROL SENSOR)

    1. Disconnect the D6 connector from the driver side junction block assy.
    2. Measure the resistance according to the value (s) in the figure Fig 9 below.

    Standard:

    1. NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR 
    2. OK: PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE (SEE  PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE  ) 
  6. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (DRIVER SIDE JUNCTION BLOCK-AUTOMATIC LIGHT CONTROL SENSOR)

    1. Disconnect the D6 connector from the driver side junction block assy.
    2. Measure the resistance according to the value (s) in the figure Fig 12 below.

    Standard:

    1. NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
