Inspection Procedure

  1. INSPECT FRONT POWER SEAT SWITCH (MEMORY SEAT ECU AND SW) 
    1. Disconnect the front power seat switch connectors.
    2. Measure the voltage according to the value (s) in the table below.

    Standard: 

    Driver Side: 

    CHECKING VOLTAGE CONDITION

    Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
    M6-4 (IG) - Body ground Ignition switch ON 10 to 14V
    M6-8 (SYSB) - Body ground Always 10 to 14V
    M7-5 (+B) - Body ground Always 10 to 14V

    Front Passenger Side: 

    CHECKING VOLTAGE

    Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
    M8-4 (IG) - Body ground Ignition switch ON 10 to 14V
    M8-8 (SYSB) - Body ground Always 10 to 14V
    M9-5 (+B) - Body ground Always 10 to 14V

    NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR (POWER SOURCE CIRCUIT) 

    OK: Go To Next Step. 

  2. INSPECT FRONT POWER SEAT SWITCH (MEMORY SEAT ECU AND SW) 
    1. Measure the resistance according to the value (s) in the table below.

    Standard: 

    Driver Side: 

    CHECKING RESISTANCE

    Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
    M7-1 (GND) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω

    Front Passenger Side: 

    CHECKING RESISTANCE

    Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
    M9-1 (GND) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω

    NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR (GROUND CIRCUIT) 

    OK: PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN IN  PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE
