Inspection Procedure
- INSPECT FRONT POWER SEAT SWITCH (MEMORY SEAT ECU AND SW)
- Disconnect the front power seat switch connector.
- Measure the voltage according to the value (s) in the table below.
Standard:
Driver Side:
CHECKING VOLTAGETester Connection Condition Specified Condition M6-7 (P) - Body ground Ignition switch is in ON position and shift position is in P position 10 to 14V Front Passenger Side:
CHECKING VOLTAGETester Connection Condition Specified Condition M8-7 (P) - Body ground Ignition switch is in ON position and shift position is in P position 10 to 14V NG: Go to step 2
OK: PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE
- INSPECT PARK/NEUTRAL POSITION SWITCH ASSY
- Inspect the park/neutral position switch assy (see DTC P0705: TRANSMISSION RANGE SENSOR CIRCUIT MALFUNCTION (PRNDL INPUT) ).
NG: REPLACE PARK/NEUTRAL POSITION SWITCH ASSY
OK: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR (PARK/NEUTRAL POSITION SWITCH ASSY - FRONT POWER SEAT SWITCH)
