Inspection Procedure

NOTE:
Start the inspection from step 1 in the case of using the hand-held tester, and start from step 2 in the case of not using the hand-held tester.
- READ VALUE OF HAND-HELD TESTER
- Connect the hand-held tester to DLC3.
- Turn the ignition switch ON and push the hand-held tester main switch ON.
- Select the items below in the DATA LIST, and read the displays on the hand-held tester.

- OK: PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN ON PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE (See PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE )
- NG: Go to next step.
- INSPECT HEADLAMP DIMMER SWITCH ASSY
- Inspect headlamp dimmer switch assy (See INSPECTION ).
- NG: REPLACE HEADLAMP DIMMER SWITCH ASSY
- OK: Go to next step.
- INSPECT INSTRUMENT PANEL JUNCTION BLOCK ASSY
- Measure voltage between the each of terminals as shown in the chart below.

- NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
- OK: PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN ON PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE (See PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE )
- Measure voltage between the each of terminals as shown in the chart below.
