Inspection Procedure

1. Connect the intelligent tester to the DLC3.
2. Turn the engine switch on (IG) and turn the intelligent tester main switch on.
3. Select the item(s) below in the ACTIVE TEST, and check the operation.

   MAIN BODY (MAIN BODY ECU):

   Tester Display	Test Part	Control Range	Diagnostic Note
   ILLUMI OUTPUT	Interior light, front seat illumination, rear seat illumination and rear door courtesy lights (Front personal switches are OFF, DOOR switch is ON, seat illumination switch is OFF, and all doors are closed)	ON / OFF	-

   OK: Each light illuminates. 

OK: PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE 

NG: Go to next step. 

1. Disconnect the DR instrument panel J/B connector.
2. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard voltage 

   TESTER CONNECTION SPECIFIED CONDITION
   
   

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   DR-5 (ILL) - Body ground	Always	10 to 14 V

NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR 

OK: REPLACE INSTRUMENT PANEL JUNCTION BLOCK ASSEMBLY
