Rear Combination Light Assembly: Reassembly

  1. INSTALL TAIL LIGHT BULB 
    1. Install the tail light bulb to the tail and rear light socket and wire.
    2. Turn the tail light bulb and rear light socket and wire in the direction indicated by the arrow and install them as a unit.
  2. INSTALL BACK UP LIGHT BULB 
    1. Install the back up light bulb to the rear light socket and wire.

    2. Turn the back up light bulb and rear light socket and wire in the direction indicated by the arrow and install them as a unit.

  3. INSTALL REAR LIGHT GASKET 
    1. Install a new rear light gasket.
      NOTE:
      • Be sure to remove all traces of the old gasket from the body.
      • Do not reuse the removed gasket. Be sure to install a new rear light gasket to prevent water ingress.

  4. INSTALL TAIL AND STOP LIGHT BULB 
    1. Install the tail and stop light bulb to the tail and rear combination light socket and wire sub-assembly.
    2. Turn the tail and stop light bulb and rear combination light socket and wife sub-assembly in the direction indicated by the. arrow and install them as a unit.
  5. INSTALL REAR TURN SIGNAL LIGHT BULB 
    1. Install the rear turn signal light bulb to the rear combination light socket and wire sub-assembly.

    2. Turn the rear turn signal light bulb and rear combination light socket and wire sub-assembly in the direction indicated by the arrow and install them as a unit.

  6. INSTALL REAR SIDE MARKER LIGHT BULB 
    1. Install the rear side marker light bulb to the rear combination light socket and wire sub-assembly.
    2. Turn the rear side marker light bulb and rear combination light socket and wire sub-assembly in the direction indicated by the arrow and install them as a unit.

  7. INSTALL REAR COMBINATION LIGHT GASKET 
    1. Install a new rear combination light gasket.
      NOTE:
      • Be sure to remove all traces of the old gasket from the body.
      • Do not reuse the removed gasket. Be sure to install a new rear combination light gasket to prevent water ingress.

  8. INSTALL REAR BUMPER RETAINER UPPER 
    1. Engage the claw and install the rear bumper retainer upper.
