Ultrasonic Sensor: Installation

  1. INSTALL NO. 1 ULTRASONIC SENSOR RETAINER (for Rear Side) 
    1. Install the No. 1 ultrasonic sensor retainer as shown in the illustration.

      HINT:

      Align the protrusions on the bumper hole with the slits of the No. 1 ultrasonic sensor retainer and install the No. 1 ultrasonic sensor.

  2. INSTALL NO. 1 ULTRASONIC SENSOR (for Rear Side) 
    NOTE: Do not apply excessive force to the No. 1 ultrasonic sensor while performing the following procedures.
    1. Install the No. 1 ultrasonic sensor to the No. 1 ultrasonic sensor retainer.

    2. Install the No. 2 ultrasonic sensor retainer as shown in the illustration.

    3. Connect the No. 2 ultrasonic sensor connector and engage the clamp.

  3. INSTALL REAR BUMPER ASSEMBLY (for Rear Side)  (See INSTALLATION )
  4. INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT INNER TRIM COVER RH (for Rear Side)  (See REASSEMBLY )
  5. INSTALL REAR FLOOR FINISH PLATE (for Rear Side)  (See REASSEMBLY )
  6. INSTALL NO. 1 LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM HOOK (for Rear Side)  (See REASSEMBLY )
  7. INSTALL LUGGAGE HOLD BELT STRIKER ASSEMBLY (for Rear Side)  (See REASSEMBLY )
  8. INSTALL SPARE WHEEL COVER TRAY (for Rear Side) 
  9. INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT FLOOR MAT (for Rear Side) 
  10. INSTALL NO. 1 ULTRASONIC SENSOR RETAINER (for Front Side) 
    1. Install the No. 1 ultrasonic sensor retainer as shown in the illustration.

      HINT:

      Align the protrusions on the bumper hole with the slits of the No. 1 ultrasonic sensor retainer and install the No. 1 ultrasonic sensor.

  11. INSTALL NO. 1 ULTRASONIC SENSOR (for Front Side) 
    NOTE: Do not apply excessive force to the No. 1 ultrasonic sensor while performing the following procedures.
    1. Install the No. 1 ultrasonic sensor to the No. 1 ultrasonic sensor retainer.

    2. Install the No. 2 ultrasonic sensor retainer as shown in the illustration.

  12. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER ASSEMBLY (for Front Side)  (See INSTALLATION )
