Active Control Engine Mount: Removal

  1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL 
  2. REMOVE ENGINE UNDER COVER LH 
  3. REMOVE ENGINE UNDER COVER RH 
  4. REMOVE COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL  (See REMOVAL )
  5. REMOVE ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER LH  (See REMOVAL )
  6. REMOVE V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY  (See REMOVAL )
  7. REMOVE AIR CLEANER INLET ASSEMBLY  (See REMOVAL )
  8. REMOVE NO. 1 AIR CLEANER INLET  (See REMOVAL )
  9. REMOVE ENGINE MOUNTING BRACKET FR 

    HINT:

    Securely support the automatic transaxle using a jack.

    1. Disconnect the 2 connectors and clamp.

    2. Remove the bolt and disconnect the earth cable.

    3. Remove the 4 bolts and engine mounting bracket FR.

  10. REMOVE ACTIVE CONTROL ENGINE MOUNT 
    1. Remove the 3 nuts and active control engine mount.

    2. Remove the 2 nuts and acceleration sensor.
