Ultrasonic Sensor: Removal

  1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL 
    CAUTION: Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to prevent airbag and seat belt pretensioner activation.
  2. REMOVE COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL (See  REMOVAL  ) 
  3. REMOVE ENGINE UNDER COVER (See  REMOVAL  ) 
  4. REMOVE FRONT FENDER LINER LH (See  REMOVAL  ) 
  5. REMOVE FRONT FENDER LINER RH (See  REMOVAL  ) 
  6. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER COVER (See  REMOVAL  ) 
  7. REMOVE NO. 3 ULTRASONIC SENSOR 
    1. Disconnect the sensor connector.
    2. Remove the sensor from the sensor retainer as shown in the illustration.

    3. Remove the sensor retainer as shown in the illustration.

  8. REMOVE REAR NO. 1 BUMPER PLATE (See  REMOVAL  ) 
  9. REMOVE REAR BUMPER COVER (See  REMOVAL  ) 
  10. REMOVE NO. 2 ULTRASONIC SENSOR 
    1. Disconnect the sensor connector.
    2. Remove the sensor retainer.
    3. Remove the sensor from the rear bumper.

  11. REMOVE NO. 1 ULTRASONIC SENSOR 
    1. Disconnect the sensor connector.
    2. Remove the sensor retainer.
    3. Remove the sensor from the rear bumper.
