Inspection Procedure

CHECK MANUAL DOOR UNLOCK OPERATION
1. Check that the manual door unlock function operates normally.
  OK:
  
  Manual door unlock function operates normally.
NG: GO TO POWER DOOR LOCK CONTROL SYSTEM

OK: Go to next step

READ VALUE OF INTELLIGENT TESTER (DOOR COURTESY LIGHT SWITCH)

Check the DATA LIST for proper functioning of the rear RH side door courtesy light switches.

Multiplex network door ECU rear RH:

MULTIPLEX NETWORK DOOR ECU REAR RH - DATA LIST

READ VALUE OF INTELLIGENT TESTER (LOCK POSITION SWITCH)

Check the DATA LIST for proper functioning of the door lock position switch.

Multiplex network door ECU rear RH:

MULTIPLEX NETWORK DOOR ECU REAR RH - DATA LIST

OK: Go to next step

PERFORM ACTIVE TEST BY INTELLIGENT TESTER (PASSENGER SIDE REAR SELECT)

Select the ACTIVE TEST, use the intelligent tester to generate a control command, and then check that the oscillator operates.

Certification ECU:

CERTIFICATION ECU - ACTIVE TEST LIST

OK:

ON (PR SELECT SIG is on) appears on the screen.

NG: REPLACE CERTIFICATION ECU ASSEMBLY

OK: Go to next step

READ VALUE OF INTELLIGENT TESTER (PR TOUCH SENSOR)

With "PR SELECT SIG" ON, check the DATA LIST for proper functioning of the touch sensor.

Certification ECU:

CERTIFICATION ECU - ACTIVE TEST LIST

CHECK OPERATION OF MULTIPLEX NETWORK DOOR ECU REAR RH
1. After replacing the multiplex network door ECU rear RH with a normal one, check that the entry unlock function operates normally.
  OK:
  
  Entry unlock function operates normally.
NG: REPLACE CERTIFICATION ECU ASSEMBLY

OK: END (MULTIPLEX NETWORK DOOR ECU REAR RH IS DETECTIVE)

CHECK DOOR ELECTRICAL KEY OSCILLATOR REAR RH

Measure the voltage of the oscillator connector.

Standard voltage

VOLTAGE SPECIFICATION

4 (SEL) - Body ground	During Active Test	Below 1 V
6 (SENS) - Body ground	Touch sensor is touched during Active Test	Below 1 V

OK: REPLACE CERTIFICATION ECU ASSEMBLY

NG: Go to next step

CHECK WIRE HARNESS (OSCILLATOR - ANTENNA)

Disconnect the r2 oscillator connector.
Disconnect the r1 antenna connector.

Measure the resistance of the wire harness side connectors.

Standard resistance

RESISTANCE SPECIFICATION

r2-2 (SGT) - r1-6 (SGT2)	Below 1 Ω
r2-3 (ANT1) - r1-5 (ANT1)	Below 1 Ω
r2-8 (ANT2) - r1-2 (ANT2)	Below 1 Ω

NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS AND CONNECTOR

OK: Go to next step

CHECK WIRE HARNESS (ECU - OSCILLATOR)

Disconnect the U33 ECU connector.
Disconnect the r2 oscillator connector.

Measure the resistance of the wire harness connectors.

Standard resistance

RESISTANCE SPECIFICATION

U33-2 (SEL3) - r2-4 (SEL)	Below 1 Ω
U33-27 (SEN4) - r2-6 (SENS)	Below 1 Ω
