Data List / Active Test

HINT:

By accessing the DATA LIST displayed on the intelligent tester, you can perform such functions as reading the values of switches and sensors without removing any parts. Reading the DATA LIST is the first step in troubleshooting and is one method to shorten labor time.

  1. DATA LIST OF 4WD CONTROL ECU 
    1. Connect the intelligent tester to the DLC3.
    2. Turn the engine switch on (IG).
    3. Following the display on the intelligent tester, select "DATA LIST".

  2. ACTIVE TEST OF 4WD CONTROL 

    HINT:

    Performing the ACTIVE TEST using the intelligent tester allows the relay, actuator, etc. to operate without parts removal. Performing the ACTIVE TEST as the first step of troubleshooting is one way to shorten labor time. It is possible to display the DATA LIST during the ACTIVE TEST.

    1. Connect the intelligent tester to the DLC3.
    2. Turn the engine switch on (IG).
    3. Following the display on the intelligent tester, select "ACTIVE TEST".
