Cooling System (Mechanical): Cooling: Radiator: Installation

INSTALL RADIATOR RESERVOIR ASSEMBLY
1. Install the grommet to the fan shroud.
2. Install the reservoir with the 2 bolts.
  Torque: 5.0 N*m (51 kgf*cm, 44 in.*lbf)

INSTALL RADIATOR ASSEMBLY
1. Install the 2 radiator support cushions and 2 radiator lower supports to the radiator.
2. Install the fan to the radiator, and attach the 3 claws.

3. Align the radiator with the condenser. Then install the radiator.
  Torque: 5.0 N*m (51 kgf*cm, 44 in.*lbf)
4. Connect the cooling fan ECU connector.
5. Connect the HV coolant hose and engine coolant hose of the reservoir.

INSTALL OIL PUMP MOTOR CONTROLLER
1. Install the controller with the 2 bolts.
  Torque: 5.0 N*m (51 kgf*cm, 44 in.*lbf)
2. Connect the 3 connectors.

INSTALL HYBRID VEHICLE CONTROL ECU
1. Install the ECU (See INSTALLATION ).

CONNECT RADIATOR HOSE OUTLET
INSTALL UPPER RADIATOR SUPPORT SUB-ASSEMBLY (See INSTALLATION )
INSTALL HOOD LOCK ASSEMBLY (See INSTALLATION )
INSTALL HOOD LOCK CONTROL CABLE COVER (See INSTALLATION )
INSTALL RADIATOR SUPPORT OPENING COVER (See INSTALLATION )
INSTALL MILLIMETER WAVE RADAR SENSOR ASSEMBLY (w/ Dynamic Radar Cruise Control System) (See INSTALLATION )
INSTALL FRONT BUMPER COVER (See INSTALLATION )
INSTALL AIR CLEANER ASSEMBLY
1. Install the air cleaner case with the 3 bolts.
  Torque: 5.0 N*m (51 kgf*cm, 44 in.*lbf)
2. Install the air cleaner element.
3. Install the air cleaner cap (See INSTALLATION ).
INSTALL NO. 1 AIR CLEANER INLET (See INSTALLATION )
CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
INSTALL SERVICE PLUG GRIP (See INSTALLATION )
ADD ENGINE COOLANT (See COOLANT )
CHECK FOR ENGINE COOLANT LEAKS (See COOLING SYSTEM )
INSTALL V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY (See INSTALLATION )
INSTALL ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER RH (See INSTALLATION )
INSTALL ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER LH (See INSTALLATION )
INSTALL COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL (See INSTALLATION )
INSTALL ENGINE UNDER COVER (See INSTALLATION )
PERFORM INITIALIZATION
1. Perform initialization (see INITIALIZATION (2006/02-2006/07) ).
  NOTE: Certain systems need to be initialized after disconnecting and reconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
